Fishing Information [Season from April through October]
When it comes to fishing within the city, the shores of Lake Kasumigaura should be your first stop, as there lies a seabed brimming with common carp, crucian carp, bitterling, grunion, and grass carp. Since grass carp are herbivores, some great catches can be had by merely wrapping your hook with leaves and casting out into the lake. Springer and goby can be caught in the river running through the city. Also, please note that we are unable answer questions regarding specific bitterling fishing spots. Your understanding is appreciated.
